Polycarbonate, also known as Lexan (for nameplates, graphic overlays and UL Markings):

  • Available in textured, matte, glossy and hardcoated finishes.
  • Certain polycarbonates have enhanced UV weathering resistant properties (excellent for outdoor use).
  • Flame-retardant grades available in clear and black.
  • Available in thickness ranges from .005″ to .030″.

  • Typical thicknesses: .005″, .007″ and .010″.
  • Available with UV-inhibitors to protect the material from “yellowing” with extended UV exposure.
  • Available in heat-stabilized versions for printing membrane switch circuitry
  • Available with built-in Microban® antimicrobial protection (Autotex AM) that inhibits the growth of mold, mildew and bacteria that produce staining, odors and product degradation.

  • Not intended for extended outdoor exposure.
  • Available in thickness ranges from .010″ to .030″.

Polyester label stock, also known as Mylar®: (for Decals, Variable Data Labels and UL Markings)

  • Offers superior temperature and chemical resistance. Service temp range is -40°F to +302°F
  • Often is over-laminated with a 1-mil gloss, matte or UV blocking gloss over laminate for protection of the graphics

    • Our most popular Adhesive system for long term bonding solutions. Comparable economical alternative to 467/468
    • Ideal for adhesion to high surface energy (HSE) materials (aluminum, steel, polycarbonate, polyester, ABS, nylon, etc.) Not recommended for LSE or powder coat surfaces.
    • Available in thicknesses .002″ and .005″. Use the thicker version (.005″) for textured surfaces
    • Service temperature range: -31°F to +250°F for prolonged periods and +350°F for short periods.
    • Excellent environmental, temperature, chemical and humidity resistance
    • UL-969 Approved
  • 3M 200MP (467MP and 468MP) High Performance Adhesives
    • Ideal for adhesion to high surface energy (HSE) materials (aluminum, steel, polycarbonate, polyester, ABS, nylon, etc.) Not recommended for LSE or powder coat surfaces.
    • Available in thicknesses .002″ and .005″. Use the thicker version (.005″) for textured surfaces
    • Service temperature range: -31°F to +300°F for prolonged periods and +400°F for short periods.
    • Excellent environmental, temperature, chemical and humidity resistance
  • 3M 300 High Strength Adhesives (9471 and 9472)
    • Excellent for adhesion to low surface energy (LSE) surfaces – powder coated paint, polypropylene and polystyrene.
    • Available thicknesses .002″, .0035, and .005″. Use the thicker version (.005″) for textured surfaces
    • Service temperature range: -40°F to +200°F for prolonged periods and +300°F for short periods
    • Excellent environmental, temperature, chemical and humidity resistance
  • NFI Printed Adhesive
    • Excellent for adhesion to low surface energy (LSE) surfaces – powder coated paint, polypropylene and polystyrene.
    • Can be selectively applied around window areas and buttons.
    • UL-969 Approved.
  • Optically Clear Adhesive
    • Offers a distortion free adhesive surface.
    • Excellent for application where superior clarity is required.
